I've taken a journey through depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-loathing and poor overall health. I've picked up a lot of practical tools and perspectives along the way and I will share them all with you.
My life is not perfect – life is always presenting new challenges – but I can say confidently that life feels exponentially lighter now, regardless of what comes up. There IS peace within and I will show you how to tap into yours.
And now the facts about me, the collection of which, doesn't even come close to being as valuable as my life experience...
I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years, teaching for 15, and teacher-training for 5. I hold the highest credentials available through Yoga Alliance, including Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) and Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT).
I am the Lead Teacher Trainer at Yoga Ghar's Registered Yoga School and have been a Lead Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainer within the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Organization – world-renowned as an authority for teaching yoga authentically.
My ties to Yoga and India run deep – from taking my advanced Yoga Acharya certification in the Himalayas, to conducting teacher training courses in the Himalayas and South India, to finding my husband Rahul in Delhi, on the way to a yoga ashram.
Now as a busy Mom, Yoga keeps me grounded. Daily practice and study are my rock. I thirst for more knowledge for myself and to share with others, so I continue on with advanced training in India and Canada via the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Organization, The Oxford School for Hindu Studies, and other schools of Yoga and Natural Wellness.
